Malibu Boats is honored to be recognized by the Water Sports Industry Association, WSIA, for our leadership in the industry. Every year the WSIA brings the industry together in Steamboat Springs, Colorado to discuss industry trends and updates as well as recognize the top leaders.
For 2019, Malibu Boats was pleased to receive an award for our Malibu Monsoon M6Di engine, making it the only engine in the industry to win an award at the WSIA Summit. What sets our engines apart? For one, our emissions. Recently, Malibu’s Monsoon Engines achieved level five “Extremely Clean” rating which is the highest certification from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) making it the lowest emissions engine in the industry. For reference, the level five rating is at least 50 percent lower emissions than the four-star rating.

“Quality, innovation, performance and serviceability have always been our priorities in developing the Malibu Monsoon engines. The Team, led by Ritchie Anderson, Donna Tallent, Scott Peterson and Ron Brown, have designed our engines to bring the lowest emissions in the industry while providing the best performance possible for a Malibu or Axis boat. We are torqued about the accelerated launch and we appreciate the industry recognition. It would not have been possible without GM and our many great partners.” – Jack Springer, CEO of Malibu Boats, Inc. (MBUU)
